The Magic of Ethical and Cultural Wisdom

Ethical and cultural wisdom are ideas that challenge the status-quo in what we believe about power, work, love, creativity and more.

  • Ethical wisdom is more than just knowing right from wrong. It encompasses a deep understanding of human nature, our relationship with others and the world around us, and the cultivation of character and insight to make values-driven decisions.
  • Cultural wisdom is the collective knowledge, insights, and practices developed and refined over generations that contribute to a group's ability to navigate life, solve problems, and maintain harmony within their environment and social structures.

This community helps you explore these diverse ideas to better navigate the complex moral challenges of our time, through a weekly newsletter, and monthly mastermind. It's more than a book club -- it's a learning journey informed by neuroscience, overlooked history, psychology, and a bit of elbow grease to help you find clarity and confidence to lead change, build deeper multi-cultural relationships, and use new strategies to achieve socially-conscious goals.

What people say about The New Quo Approach:

"It was such a pleasure to work with Christina recently, as she led an absolutely fantastic session with our board team on inclusivity, breaking down the traps of affinity bias and changing behaviour at both a personal and leadership level. I've been in many sessions on these topics over the years, and I can say without exaggeration that this was the most effective one I've been part of. From the way Christina blended story telling with hard data and research, open discussion on challenging areas with humour and humility, to the balance of both challenging and supporting the room on these issues, it just worked beautifully. The result was as much about diversity inclusion as it was about leadership and team for this group, really demonstrating a gift from Christina in helping us to become better leaders. I can't recommend Christina enough. Really, really impressive and really down to earth and fun along the way. Thank you!" - Perry, Non-profit CEO

“Christina led me through exercises that not only helped me process and create a finished product, but also helped me uncover elements of my stories and memories I hadn't thought about for years. It was incredible! This whole playful, light-hearted side of me from childhood that I'd forgotten about came rushing back and made its way into my writing. It was such a deepening of the story, of my voice as a writer, and of my confidence in the importance of sharing. I am immensely grateful to Christina and in awe of the deep, subtle, and powerful work she does. I recommend her to the moon and back.” Elissa, Entrepreneur

"Christina held the space throughout the session, working fluidly and ensuring everyone felt safe and heard, as well as taking on important topics head-on - just what we needed as a group. I'll include some quotes from the team they provided via a final evaluation form: “Christina was so open and well prepared for the powerful exercises she took us through. Very non-judgmental and the right amount of humor and authenticity." “Christina is a wonderful facilitator. Thoughtful balance of information and participation.” "Christina has a great voice in presenting, great pace and gets an important message across, particularly about fear, change, and who we are.” - Lorraine, Non-Profit Senior Manager

"The New Quo was a fantastic and beautifully narrated course that included real, actionable steps for thinking about and implementing inclusivity in the workplace. Every organization should have to take this course! Highly recommend." - Alicia, Social Media Supervisor
